The school is looking for an educator who can inspire students to develop a lifelong passion for physical activity, health, fitness, teamwork, and sporting achievement while helping them build confidence and essential personal skills.
This role offers the opportunity to teach PE across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential Key Stage 5 teaching for the right candidate. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher, you'll be joining a school that values collaboration, innovation, and professional development.
What You'll Be Doing
• Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons that inspire students to develop a passion for sport, physical activity, and healthy lifestyles.
• Use a variety of teaching approaches to support learners of differing abilities and learning styles.
• Track student achievement and implement strategies to maximise progress and attainment.
• Create a positive environment where students feel motivated, supported, and confident to participate and develop their skills.
• Work closely with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to the ongoing success of the PE department.
• Prepare students for examinations and help them develop strong theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and an understanding of health and fitness.
• Promote high standards of behaviour, effort, teamwork, and participation across all lessons.
We're Looking For Someone Who
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has a degree in PE, Sports Science, or a related subject area.
• Demonstrates strong curriculum knowledge and a passion for their subject.
• Can build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Has the ability to inspire students and make learning accessible, relevant, and engaging.
• Is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
