Our client is a well-established organisation dedicated to delivering an exceptional employee experience across a diverse workforce. They are seeking a proactive People Advisor to join their People team, providing operational support and guidance across a broad range of people-related activities.

Based in Southampton, paying up to £38,000 alongside an excellent range of company benefits, this is absolutely not an opportunity to be missed.

What you'll do as a People Advisor:

  • Provide advice and support to managers and employees on a range of HR policies, procedures, and people-related matters
  • Support the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, contractual changes, family leave, and absence management
  • Act as a first point of contact for HR queries, delivering a professional and responsive service
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR systems are updated and managed effectively
  • Produce and analyse people-related reports, identifying trends and highlighting areas for action
  • Support HR Business Partners with employee relations matters and wellbeing initiatives
  • Assist with the preparation of management information, reports, and documentation
  • Build strong working relationships across the organisation to support the delivery of HR services
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that support the wider people strategy

The ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience within a generalist HR or People Advisor role
  • CIPD Level 3 desirable
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and the employee lifecycle
  • Excellent administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills at all levels
  • Experience advising managers or stakeholders on HR policies and procedures
  • Confident using HR systems and Microsoft Office packages
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively
  • A proactive and collaborative approach with a genuine passion for delivering excellent service
