Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking a People & Culture Advisor to join their People & Culture team.
Job Overview
This role plays a key part in partnering with leaders and employees across a designated business area to deliver practical, commercially focused people solutions. You will provide expert support across the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring a positive and engaging workplace environment that promotes high performance and continuous improvement.
Working closely with senior managers, the role focuses on championing best practice in people management. You will ensure all approaches are fair, ethical, and aligned with organisational values, while contributing to strategic objectives and enhancing the overall employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional advice, guidance, and support to managers and the People & Culture team
- Support employee relations matters including performance management, disciplinaries, grievances, and investigations
- Coach and develop line managers to strengthen people management capability
- Review and assist in the preparation of correspondence and reports relating to employee relations cases
- Deliver training to managers on people management topics
- Support case management relating to Employment Tribunal claims
- Manage and respond to Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) in line with legislation
- Contribute to HR projects including restructuring and change initiatives aligned to HR strategy
Person Specification
- Previous experience in a People & Culture or HR generalist role
- Degree educated or equivalent experience
- CIPD qualified or working towards Level 5 or above
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation
- Experience advising managers across a broad range of people issues
- Awareness of TUPE processes and employee relations frameworks
- Experience supporting organisational change and restructuring activity
- Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel up to three days per week (car or car allowance provided)
