People & Culture Business Partner

Remarkable Jobs

HR Advisor / People & Culture BP

Bracknell | £35,000 - £45,000 | Full-Time | Office-Based

Remarkable Jobs are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a long-established and highly respected organisation with over 50 years of success. Renowned for its expertise and innovation, the business continues to invest, evolve and grow, offering an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team where people genuinely make a difference.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious People & Culture Advisor/Business Partner who enjoys making a real impact. This is a standalone, operational role where you'll take ownership of the full employee lifecycle while helping to build a positive, engaging and high-performing culture.

We're looking for someone who enjoys improving the way things are done, embraces technology and AI, and is excited by the opportunity to shape and develop HR processes rather than simply maintain them. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation where your ideas will be valued and you'll have genuine autonomy.

The Role

As the People & Culture Advisor/Business Partner you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of HR activities while partnering with managers across the business to provide practical, commercial and people-focused support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding new employees.
  • Preparing employment contracts, offer letters and associated HR documentation.
  • Coordinating payroll and maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.
  • Managing employee relations matters, including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Coordinating learning and development activities.
  • Reviewing, improving and modernising HR processes, policies and procedures.
  • Using AI and technology to streamline administrative tasks and improve efficiency across the People function.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and helping to foster a positive and inclusive culture.
  • Producing HR reports and supporting wider People initiatives as the business continues to grow.
About You

The successful People & Culture Advisor/Business Partner will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a broad HR Generalist or People & Culture role.
  • A genuine passion for people and culture, with a proactive and positive approach to supporting employees.
  • Experience supporting recruitment, including candidate sourcing, screening and managing recruitment campaigns—not simply interview coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • A builder mentality rather than an administrator mentality—someone who enjoys improving processes and asking, "How can we make sure we never have to do this manually again?"
  • Be genuinely AI-native, using AI tools as part of your everyday workflow to improve productivity, efficiency and the employee experience.
  • Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to build credibility and work effectively with multiple stakeholders across the business.
  • The ability to work independently while thriving in a standalone HR environment.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the confidence to take ownership of the People function.
  • CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification (preferred).
What's on Offer?
  • Competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000, depending on experience.
  • Full-time, permanent office-based position in Bracknell.
  • A varied standalone People & Culture role with genuine autonomy and influence.
  • The opportunity to shape and improve HR processes across the business.
  • A forward-thinking organisation that embraces innovation, technology and AI.
  • CIPD training and professional qualifications funded for the right candidate.
  • The chance to join a stable, growing organisation with an excellent reputation and a collaborative culture where your ideas will be welcomed.

If you're an enthusiastic HR professional who enjoys building great workplaces, improving processes and embracing new technology, we'd love to hear from you.
