Marlow · Permanent

Hybrid role - 3 days a week onsite (Mon-Wed)

Our client is a growing software group based in the UK and EMEA.

They are at an exciting stage in their journey, with ambitious plans to accelerate growth, strengthen how they work together and continue building a connected, high-performing international business.

With growth comes change, opportunity and the chance to do things differently. We're looking for someone who wants to be part of that journey and help shape their future. This is a genuine opportunity to grow

The Opportunity

We're looking for an enthusiastic and driven People & Culture Manager to join our team and play a key role in the next stage of growth.

Working closely with the Group Head of People & Culture, you'll take ownership of day-to-day People & Culture operations, primarily supporting our UK business, while gradually developing your involvement across our European entities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, building relationships and supporting managers, but equally wants to contribute ideas, improve processes and help shape how People & Culture evolves as we scale.

You'll lead and develop our People & Culture Coordinator, work closely with our external HR partners and be involved in exciting projects, including our group-wide HR system implementation and business integration activities.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who brings energy, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for people and culture. Someone who thrives on change, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is excited by the opportunity to grow and develop alongside a scaling international business.

You'll be proactive, curious and full of ideas, with the confidence to challenge existing ways of working and identify opportunities to do things better. Equally, you'll be diligent, organised and process-driven, recognising the importance of building strong foundations and getting the detail right.

You'll enjoy rolling up your sleeves, taking ownership and finding practical solutions. Most importantly, you'll genuinely connect with the group values, take pride in being an ambassador for their culture and want to make a positive difference.

We're not just looking for someone to manage People & Culture processes. We want someone who is excited about helping shape what comes next.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Act as a trusted People & Culture partner to managers, providing practical, commercially minded advice and support.
  • Coach and guide managers through employee relations, performance, absence, conduct and development matters with outside HR providers in support.
  • Work closely with the Group Head of People & Culture on group-wide priorities, people risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead and develop our People & Culture Coordinator and manage our outsourced HR support providers.
  • Oversee the implementation of our new HR system, improving data accuracy, reporting and consistency across the group.
  • Review and improve people policies, processes and ways of working, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities to simplify and automate.
  • Support the people side of business acquisitions and integration, helping bring teams, policies and processes together.
  • Support UK benefits, pensions and incentive schemes, working with external providers.
  • Bring ideas and energy to our culture, engagement, wellbeing, inclusion and internal communications initiatives.
  • Gradually broaden your involvement in European people matters, working alongside local employment advisers.

What You'll Bring

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification.
  • Experience as an HR Manager, HR Business Partner or Senior HR Adviser, ideally in a multi-site or international business.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law, including redundancy and restructuring.
  • Experience coaching managers and supporting employee relations matters.
  • Experience supervising or developing HR team members and working with external HR advisers.
  • Confidence working with HR systems, data and reporting.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills.
  • Sound judgement, attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Compliance focused.

Even better if you have: Experience supporting M&A integration, exposure to European employment law or experience within a private equity-backed business.

Why Join?

This is an opportunity to join a growing international business where you can genuinely make a difference.

You'll have real ownership, work closely with the Group Head of People & Culture with exposure to executive-level priorities, and play an important part in shaping our people processes, culture and ways of working.

We're a business that's evolving, and we want someone who finds that exciting. Someone who brings ideas, embraces change and wants to grow their career alongside us.

If you're passionate about people, excited by change and want to be part of building something better, we'd love to hear from you.
