Performance Analyst – Renewable Energy

Location: Aldermaston, Berkshire (Hybrid – 3 days in the office, 2 days from home)
Salary: £31,000 per annum

Are you analytical, detail-oriented and interested in renewable energy? This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing renewable energy business, supporting the performance monitoring of a large portfolio of solar assets across the UK and Europe.

As a Performance Analyst, you will monitor asset performance, identify faults and investigate underperformance, helping ensure issues are resolved quickly and performance targets are achieved. You will work closely with engineers, clients and internal teams to analyse data, produce reports and improve the performance of solar installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor solar asset performance using SCADA systems and operational data.
• Identify faults, performance issues and discrepancies, supporting the investigation and resolution of problems.
• Analyse data to identify root causes of underperformance and recommend solutions.
• Support field engineers remotely, prioritising faults and coordinating repairs.
• Produce accurate performance reports for management and clients.
• Monitor contractual performance against agreed targets and customer requirements.
• Liaise with engineers, network operators and third-party contractors.
• Maintain accurate records, databases and performance monitoring tools.
• Work collaboratively with wider teams to improve asset performance and service delivery.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Ability to interpret data, identify discrepancies and solve problems.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Experience:

• Previous experience in a Performance Analyst, Data Analyst, Monitoring Analyst or similar role.
• Experience working with SCADA systems, operational data or performance reporting.
• An interest in renewable energy or the wider energy sector.
• A degree in Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline.
