Rate: £57,402.00
Contract Duration: Permanent
Purpose:
Lead a team of Social Workers to provide outstanding service for children and families, focusing on intervention and safeguarding the wellbeing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Allocating workload to appropriate staff members, and manage the caseload, in the form of supervision, performance management, monitoring care plans and quality assurance/case audits
- Chair case meetings and reviews to ensure care plans meet the requirements and promote child’s best interests and safety.
- Allocate performance targets to improve the service, focus on the maintenance and monitoring of reporting, care plans, workload, and outcomes.
- Working in partnership across internal and external services.
Job Requirements:
- Must have 3 years direct experience with an English LA, plus relevant Team Manager experience within childrens services.
- Enhanced DBS - Registered to the update service
- Registered with Social Work England
- Recognised Social Work Qualification
