Personal Advisor (Leaving Care service)

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Personal Advisor (Leaving Care Service) to join Nottingham City Council on an initial 3-month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting young people leaving care as they transition into independent adulthood, helping them achieve positive outcomes in areas such as housing, education, employment, health, and wellbeing.

• Identify safeguarding concerns and take appropriate action to protect young people, escalating issues in line with safeguarding procedures.

• Liaise effectively with multi-agency partners including social care, housing, education, health services and voluntary organisations to coordinate support and services.

• Support young people to access and sustain accommodation, education, training and employment opportunities.

Essential Requirements

•  Experience supporting children in care, care leavers, or young people transitioning to adulthood.

• Ability to build positive relationships and provide person-centred support.

• Knowledge of safeguarding and multi-agency working.
