Personal Advisor Role

We are collaborating with a Local Authority in their search for a Personal Advisor to provide support to their Care Leavers Team in Shropshire!

We are seeking inspired and innovative individuals who can empower care leavers, building on their strengths and assisting them in achieving personal growth and success.

As a Personal Advisor, you will:

• Support care leavers in their transition to adulthood, helping them build independence, confidence, and stability.
• Empower young people to identify their strengths, set personal goals, and achieve positive life outcomes.
• Enhance services provided to supported families and contribute to improved outcomes for children and young people.
• Build meaningful, trusting relationships with care leavers and professionals across education, housing, and health.
• Promote a restorative and relationship-based approach to practice throughout the service.
• Work within a supportive environment that values collaboration, reflective practice, and professional development.
• Benefit from manageable caseloads, regular supervision, and strong management support.

What We're Looking For

• Individuals with experience supporting young people, ideally within care or leaving care services.
• A creative and compassionate approach, with a genuine commitment to helping young people succeed.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
