Job Title: Personal Assistant to the CEO
Location: Exeter
Salary: £32,500 FTE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week (5 hours per day)

About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly organised Personal Assistant to support the CEO of a successful and well-established organisation based in Exeter.
This role is ideal for an experienced PA, Executive Assistant or senior administrator who enjoys working at pace, managing multiple priorities and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
You will be responsible for coordinating a busy diary, arranging meetings, preparing documentation, organising travel and acting as a key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the CEO's diary, appointments and meetings.
  • Organise travel arrangements, accommodation and itineraries.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, reports, presentations and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate leadership and governance meetings.
  • Attend meetings, take minutes and track actions where required.
  • Manage correspondence and administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive business information.
  • Support the effective day-to-day running of the executive office.
  • Anticipate priorities and proactively provide administrative support.

About You:
Essential
  • Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant or senior administrative support professional.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Professional, proactive and solutions-focused approach.
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Strong Microsoft 365 skills, including Outlook, Teams, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of workload.
Desirable
  • Experience supporting a CEO, Managing Director or Senior Leadership Team.
  • Experience coordinating board or senior management meetings.
  • Minute-taking experience.
  • Experience managing complex diaries and scheduling requirements.
  • Exposure to governance or executive administration activities.
