This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early reading and confident delivering structured phonics support to pupils who need targeted intervention.

As a Phonics Support Assistant, you will:
* Deliver phonics interventions (Phases 1-5) to individuals and small groups.
* Support pupils who are not yet meeting age-related expectations in reading and early literacy.
* Work closely with the class teacher and literacy lead to monitor and record progress.
* Use recognised phonics schemes such as Read Write Inc., Letters and Sounds, or Little Wandle.
* Help create a positive, engaging learning environment that builds confidence and independence.
UK school-based experience is essential, ideally within phonics, early years, or KS1 support.
