Strategy Education are seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Education Tutor to join this growing alternative provision setting in North Suffolk.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the theory and practice of Physical Education and be able to foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes student engagement and confidence. You will work in collaboration with support staff regarding student progress, attendance and areas for improvement.
You will be required to provide one-on-one or small group sessions to students, adapting resources on their individual learning needs and curriculum. You will be required to develop and implement customised lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles, abilities and a range of additional needs.
You will have a responsibility to contribute to EHCP reviews, write reports and personalised provision plans and to collaborate with other educators and specialists to ensure comprehensive support for students with special educational needs.
The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills both verbal and written, a deep enthusiasm for educating young people and the ability to effectively engage with students and their families. Experience of working with SEND students is desirable though not essential for application.
In line with keeping children safe have a relevant undergraduate degree and will be subject to a variety of checks including, eligibility to work in the UK an enhanced DBS and full references including one from your most recent teaching placement.
