Physiotherapist

Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: Band 5 £28,000–£35,000 | Band 6 £36,000–£43,000
Hours: Full-time or part-time

We are recruiting for a Physiotherapist to join a specialist neurological rehabilitation service in Milton Keynes.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Physiotherapist or newly qualified Physiotherapist with a particular interest in neurology and rehabilitation.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting individuals with a range of progressive and acquired neurological conditions, delivering rehabilitation and maintenance programmes tailored to individual needs.

• Assess, plan and deliver individualised physiotherapy programmes.
• Support rehabilitation and maintenance programmes for residents with complex neurological conditions.
• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to the ongoing assessment and review of patients' rehabilitation needs.
• Support and supervise Therapy Technicians, Therapy Assistants and students where appropriate.
• Maintain high standards of clinical practice, safeguarding and patient care.
• Participate in continuing professional development and training.

We are interested in hearing from Physiotherapists who have:

• HCPC registration.
• A genuine interest in neurology and neurorehabilitation.
• Experience within rehabilitation, or a strong interest in developing within this area.
• Experience of tracheostomy care is desirable.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary working skills.
• A compassionate, patient-centred approach.
• The ability to work effectively with individuals with complex and progressive conditions.

Newly qualified Physiotherapists with a strong interest in neurological rehabilitation are also encouraged to apply.
