Warehouse Operative – Food Warehouse (Cold Environment)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a busy food warehouse in Park Royal.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who have previous warehouse and order picking experience and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.

Shift Pattern

• Training Period (First 2 Weeks): 1:00pm – 10:00pm
• Following Training: Permanent Night Shift
• Full-time hours (5 days/week)

Working Environment

This role involves working within a food warehouse where temperatures vary between:

• Freezer areas: -22°C
• Chilled areas: +2°C

Full PPE and protective clothing will be provided, including jackets, gloves and hats. Candidates must provide their own safety footwear.

Duties

• Order picking across multiple warehouse departments
• Picking and packing products accurately
• General warehouse duties
• Working as part of a busy warehouse team
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Maintaining high standards of accuracy and productivity

Requirements

• Previous warehouse and order picking experience is essential
• Experience working in a chilled or frozen environment is highly desirable
• Fast learner with a good work ethic
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Available for full-time work and able to commit to the training period
