PIP 2 Public Protection Officer

£193.13 per day + accommodation + flights Start: ASAP

We are seeking experienced PIP2‑accredited investigators to join the Isle of Man Constabulary for a 12‑month deployment supporting serious and complex safeguarding investigations. This is an excellent opportunity for detectives with strong Public Protection, RASSO, Domestic Abuse or safeguarding backgrounds to work within a high‑performing team in a unique jurisdiction.

You will be responsible for managing serious and complex investigations from start to finish, including:

• Domestic abuse, sexual offences and child protection investigations

• Managing high‑risk victims, offenders and vulnerability

• Multi‑agency safeguarding work (MARAC / MAPPA)

• Evidence gathering, case building and interview work

• Trauma‑informed, victim‑focused practice

This is a hands‑on operational role requiring confident decision‑making, strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with partner agencies.

• Start date: ASAP

• Duration: Up to 12 months

• Pay: £193.13 per day

• Hours: 40 per week (Mon-Fri) + 1 weekend in 6

• Accommodation: Provided (shared)

• Flights: 3 return flights to/from the UK included

• Holiday: 28 days (including bank holidays)

To be considered, you must have:

• PIP2 accreditation

• Recent experience in Public Protection, safeguarding, RASSO, Domestic Abuse or serious/complex investigations

• Ability to manage a caseload end‑to‑end

• Strong victim‑focused approach

• Experience working within multi‑agency safeguarding frameworks
