We are looking for a Pipefitter Welder for a permanent position based with our client in Scunthorpe

Immediate start available (subject to interview and weld test)

Rate of pay is

• £21.03 per hour (First 38 hours)
• £29.44 per hour (After 38 hours)

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Pipefitter Welder with experience in pipework fabrication, installation and welding to join an established engineering team.

We are looking for a reliable, safety-conscious individual who can work to high-quality standards and deliver work efficiently within an engineering or industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, fit and install pipework to engineering specifications and drawings.
• Carry out welding duties to the required quality standards.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, isometric drawings and pipework layouts.
• Measure, cut, prepare and align pipes and fittings ready for welding.
• Ensure all pipework and welds meet the required quality and safety standards.
• Carry out work in accordance with site procedures and health and safety regulations.
• Work effectively as part of a team while also being able to use your own initiative.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working as a Pipefitter Welder within an industrial, engineering or fabrication environment.
• Proven pipefitting and welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good knowledge of pipework fabrication, installation and welding techniques.
• A strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Reliable, hardworking and committed to producing high-quality work.
• Relevant welding qualifications or trade certifications would be advantageous.

This will be working both in shop and on local sites, working on various sizes of pipework.

MIG and MMA welding experience is essential.

In date CCNSG Safety Passport would be expected.
