• Senior Financial Planning Analytics Consultant
• £600 per day PAYE (Inside IR35)
• Initial 6-month contract with strong potential to extend
• Remote working with fully expensed travel to client sites across the UK when required

The role

We're supporting a specialist consultancy in the appointment of a Senior Planning Analytics Consultant to join their Professional Services team.

Working remotely, you'll deliver IBM Cognos TM1 / Planning Analytics solutions for enterprise clients across the UK. You'll partner with finance teams to understand business requirements, design and implement Planning Analytics solutions, provide expert consultancy and guide clients through the full project lifecycle. Travel to client sites will be required when needed, with all expenses covered.

You're an expert in IBM Cognos TM1 / Planning Analytics with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale solutions within large, global organisations.

You combine exceptional technical expertise with strong commercial awareness, enabling you to build credibility with senior finance stakeholders, challenge existing processes and deliver solutions that create genuine business value.

Whether your background is consultancy or in-house, you're someone clients trust to solve complex problems and deliver successful outcomes.

Your experience

• Extensive commercial experience delivering IBM Cognos TM1 / Planning Analytics solutions within large, complex enterprise organisations.
• A strong understanding of finance, budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes, with the ability to engage confidently with senior finance stakeholders.
• Experience leading Planning Analytics projects from initial requirements through to implementation and ongoing optimisation.
• Consultancy experience would be highly advantageous, although candidates who have successfully delivered enterprise Planning Analytics solutions within large corporate environments are equally encouraged to apply.
• Ideally ACCA or CIMA qualified (or part qualified), enabling you to confidently engage with finance teams and understand the commercial drivers behind their planning and reporting requirements.
• Experience administering IBM Cognos TM1 / Planning Analytics environments, with installation and upgrade experience being advantageous.
• Eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC) where required for client projects.
