Planning Enforcement Officer

Zenith are looking to recruit a Planning Enforcement Officer to work in the South Shields area. The role is to provide an effective and efficient administration service and operational support to the Asset Management Team. To co-ordinate data and update records on Assets as required and ensure their effective management. To ensure data accuracy is key to the success of all Asset Management processes

Key Responsibilities:

To contribute towards providing a service to all delivery partners, informing them of any Asset or Asbestos issues prior to and during programmes of work.

To ensure that all sources of information are co-ordinated and recorded in relevant systems to contribute towards current and future asset management planning

To contribute to the management of the various I.T. systems which contribute towards Asset Management and service delivery to customers and ensure integrity of all data

Record results of stock condition and asset or refurbishment surveys as directed

Record results of surveys of known ACM’s as required

To offer initial advice over the telephone to all stakeholders

Deliver the service in accordance with performance targets established by the section, and contribute to the development of these targets

You will be responsible for contributing to a great team- You must:

Work as part of the Directorate team helping and supporting all colleagues in the delivery of excellent services

Be responsible for keeping Managers and colleagues well informed so that work is co-ordinated across the service.

Develop professional relationships and share good practice with colleagues, Managers and Members to aid communication and consistency.
