Due to continued growth and the securing of new contracts, my client is looking to hire a heavy plant fitter to work in their state of the art facility, with some travel to site involved.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out planned servicing, overhaul work, and maintenance on a varied fleet of heavy plant and foundation equipment from the workshop
• Undertake periodic field service visits across England and Wales to handle site repairs, emergency breakdowns, and technical support.
• Perform advanced fault-finding on complex hydraulic circuits, diesel engine systems, and basic auto-electrics.
• Keep digital and physical maintenance records, service sheets, and defect logs updated.
• Minimal stayaway requirement for distant site support, fully covered with company allowances.

Requirements:

• Holds a level 2 in plant maintenance or equivalent
• Must hold a valid UK driving licence
• Must live a commutable distance from Burton on trent
