About the role…
TwoH part of the Ipsum Group is a UK-based hire and sales company supplying specialist equipment and products to the construction and utilities sectors. Operating from a central depot, we focus on delivering reliable, well-maintained equipment and high-quality products to our customers.
We are looking to recruit a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Operative to support the day-to-day operation of our depot. This is a varied role suited to someone practical, organised, and comfortable working with tools, machinery, and mechanical components.
As a Plant Maintenance and Warehouse Operative you will…
- Service, inspect, and maintain small plant and equipment
- Carry out basic vehicle maintenance (checks, minor repairs, servicing support)
- Assemble products and equipment from supplied components and drawings
- Carry out general warehouse duties, including loading/unloading, stock handling, and keeping the depot organised
- Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are kept safe, clean, and organised
- Identify faults and report larger repair requirements
- Support general depot maintenance and upkeep as required
About you…
- Practical, hands-on approach with good mechanical awareness
- Experience maintaining small plant, tools, or machinery preferred
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
- Ability to assemble products accurately from components
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Willingness to assist with general warehouse and depot tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years, with no more than 3 penalty points
