As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:

  • Following internal procedures and maintaining health and safety standards.
  • Assisting depot colleagues with general yard duties as required.
  • Helping ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard for customers.

Equipment may include:

  • Various attachments, including breakers, grabs and shears.

Skills and Qualifications

  • A practical, hands-on approach and a willingness to learn.
  • Previous experience working with plant machinery, vehicles or heavy equipment would be advantageous.
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards.
  • A positive, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to build good working relationships with depot personnel.
  • Reliability and a willingness to support the wider team.
  • A full driving licence is preferred but not essential.

Veterans and Service Leavers

We are particularly interested in hearing from veterans and service leavers who are looking to build a civilian career.

Experience gained through military service in equipment handling, vehicle preparation, inspections, logistics, stores, engineering support or general operational duties may be relevant to this position.

The role offers an opportunity to apply your existing skills in a practical working environment, with training provided to help you develop further.

If you are reliable, motivated and keen to learn, we would welcome your application.

Benefits

  • £12.71 per hour, dependent on location and skill set.
