Salary: £32,028 - £42,109 per annum

The Role

As a Plastering Lecturer, you will deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across a range of construction programmes, helping learners develop the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to succeed within the industry.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons.
  • Creating high-quality learning resources to support a range of learners.
  • Assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback.
  • Supporting learners through tutorials and pastoral guidance.
  • Maintaining accurate learner records and monitoring progress.
  • Keeping curriculum content up to date with current industry standards.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and employers to enhance the learner experience.
  • Promoting safeguarding, equality, diversity and health & safety at all times.

What We're Looking For
  • A Level 3 qualification in Plastering.
  • Recent industry experience within the plastering trade.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent), or a willingness to work towards one.
  • Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to deliver engaging and inclusive learning.
  • Confidence using digital technology to support teaching and learning.
  • A commitment to safeguarding, equality and continuous professional development.
