Your new companyA well-established social housing contractor operating across Wakefield and the surrounding areas is seeking an experienced Plumber to join their growing maintenance team. The organisation delivers high-quality repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment services to tenanted and void properties, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and community improvement.Your new roleAs a Plumber, you will be carrying out reactive and planned maintenance work on social housing properties throughout Wakefield. Duties will include:

• Bathroom repairs and installations
• Fault-finding and plumbing maintenance
• Repairs to pipework, taps, toilets, showers, and sanitaryware
• Working in occupied and void properties
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
• Providing excellent customer service to tenants

What you'll need to succeed

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent)
• Proven experience working as a plumber within domestic properties
• Experience within social housing, repairs, or maintenance environments
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
