Job Opportunity

We are working with a leading Repairs & Maintenance Contractor in the Social Housing sector to recruit an experienced Plumber to join a newly created Support Team.

The team has been established to provide additional support across several high-priority contracts throughout London and the South East. As part of this team, you will work across multiple contracts and locations, providing plumbing support where required.

This is a varied role suited to an experienced Plumber who is happy travelling between different locations and adapting to the needs of each contract.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out reactive and planned plumbing repairs across residential and communal properties
  • Provide plumbing support across multiple social housing contracts
  • Respond to high-priority repairs and assist contracts where additional support is required
  • Diagnose plumbing faults and carry out appropriate repairs
  • Complete a range of plumbing and maintenance works to a high standard
  • Work efficiently while maintaining health & safety and compliance requirements
  • Complete jobs within required timescales and aim for first-time fixes where possible
  • Provide a professional and respectful service to residents
  • Accurately update job details using PDA/job scheduling systems
  • Work flexibly across different contracts and locations as required
  • Be willing to travel throughout London and the South East


What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Plumber, ideally within social housing or repairs & maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of general plumbing repairs and maintenance
  • Experience working in occupied residential properties
  • Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Professional manner with good communication and customer service skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Comfortable travelling between different contracts and locations
  • Flexible approach to working across multiple sites
