Contract Duration: 3+ Months - This position is Monday - Thursday 8am -4pm & Fridays 8am -3.30pm
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities
- Carry out reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance in council tenanted properties.
- Diagnose plumbing faults and complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard.
- Undertake a range of plumbing maintenance tasks, ensuring work is safe and compliant with relevant standards.
- Provide a professional and customer-focused service to tenants.
- Complete work to a high-quality finish, taking pride in workmanship.
- Work effectively as part of the repairs and maintenance team.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and report any further issues identified.
- Follow health and safety procedures, council policies and safe working practices.
- Respond to repair requests and complete work within required timescales.
- Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a safe and appropriate condition.
Essential
- Standard plumbing qualification or substantial practical plumbing experience.
- Strong practical plumbing and maintenance skills.
- Experience carrying out reactive repairs, preferably within residential or social housing properties.
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- High standard of workmanship with strong attention to detail.
- Customer-focused approach and professional communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Reliable, punctual and able to manage a daily workload effectively.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Able to provide a CV and complete a Confidentiality Agreement.
