You’ll be working within a busy college environment, joining a friendly and supportive maintenance team responsible for keeping the campus facilities safe, operational, and well maintained. I’d love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as a Maintenance Plumber, Multi Trade Operative, Property Maintenance Operative, Maintenance Operative, or in a similar facilities maintenance role.
As a Plumber you will be:
  • Carrying out reactive plumbing repairs including toilets, taps, sinks, and pipework
  • Diagnosing and resolving minor plumbing faults across the college
  • Completing planned plumbing maintenance works
  • Undertaking basic maintenance tasks where required
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
  • Reporting any additional repair requirements to the maintenance team
I’d love to speak to anyone who has:
  • Previous plumbing or maintenance experience
  • Experience carrying out reactive plumbing repairs
  • An NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • An Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
  • Reliable transport to travel to and from the college
