Plumber Pipefitter in Low Fell & Chowdene, Gateshead

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Plumber / Pipefitter for an immediate start on a fast-paced commercial contract in Newcastle upon Tyne.

The project involves commercial refurbishment and M&E installation works, focusing heavily on pipework fabrication, crimp copper systems, and commercial heating/water distribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Installing copper pipework using press-fit / crimp tools across commercial heating, hot/cold water, and secondary systems.

• Measuring, cutting, bending, and threading/crimping pipework to exact specifications.

• Executing commercial pipefitting runs, valve sets, and plant room header connections.

• Working efficiently alongside site supervisors and mechanical teams to hit project deadlines.

Requirements

• CSCS Card

• Asbestos Awareness

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating or Pipefitting.

• Flexibility: Willingness and availability to work mandatory weekend shifts.

• Experience: Strong track record in commercial press-fit copper pipework installation and commercial site environments.

This role is initially 2-3 weeks work but could continue working beyond on other roles if successful.
