Morgan Jones is recruiting on behalf of a respected education provider seeking an experienced Plumbing Lecturer to support the delivery of Level 3 Plumbing Apprenticeships.

 

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a plumbing professional who is passionate about developing the next generation of skilled tradespeople. You will deliver engaging learning programmes, prepare apprentices for End Point Assessment, and support learners in achieving successful outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment to Plumbing Level 3 apprentices.
  • Teach the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours within the apprenticeship standard.
  • Prepare learners for End Point Assessment (EPA).
  • Monitor, track and record apprentice progress using college systems.
  • Support learner reviews and contribute to achievement targets.
  • Develop lesson plans, schemes of work and learning resources.
  • Work collaboratively with curriculum and apprenticeship teams.
  • Contribute to student recruitment, course development and employer engagement activities.
  • Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity, health and safety best practice.

 

Requirements

 

  • Relevant Plumbing Industry Qualification at Level 3 or above.
  • Strong industry experience within plumbing.
  • Experience delivering training, teaching or mentoring is desirable.
  • Knowledge of apprenticeships and vocational education is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • Teaching and/or Assessor qualifications desirable, with willingness to work towards a teaching qualification if required.
