About the Role

As a Plumbing Lecturer at Wolverhampton College, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and practical lessons across Plumbing programmes,
  • Plan and prepare learning activities that meet curriculum and awarding body requirements,
  • Support learners in developing both theoretical knowledge and hands-on industry skills,
  • Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement,
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment within classroom and workshop settings,
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure an outstanding learner experience.
What We’re Looking For
  • Industry experience within Plumbing or Building Services Engineering,
  • Strong practical knowledge of plumbing systems, installation methods, and health and safety requirements,
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills,
  • A passion for supporting and developing learners,
  • A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable,
  • A valid or update-service DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
