A specialist Secondary School in Oxford is seeking a dedicated and caring person to join their welcoming team.
As a PMLD Assistant, you will:
- Supporting pupils with profound and multiple learning disabilities on a one-to-one or small group basis.
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering personalised learning activities tailored to individual needs.
- Supporting students with mobility, including the safe use of hoists, wheelchairs, standing frames, and other specialist equipment (where trained).
- Assisting with feeding programmes and following individual care plans where required.
- Supporting students with sensory activities, sensory integration, and multi-sensory learning experiences.
We are looking for a PMLD Assistant who:

- Patient and understanding, with the ability to work at each student's pace.
- Empathetic and able to build trusting relationships with pupils.
- Calm and resilient, particularly in challenging or unpredictable situations.

- Pay: £93-£110 per day
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
- Contract: Full-time
