Location: Variety of specialist schools across Mansfield
Pay Rate: £92.56 - £110 per day (inclusive of holiday pay)
Higher rate dependent upon experience, training, qualifications, and client rate available.

Academics is looking for a compassionate and resilient PMLD Specialist Teaching Assistant to provide high-quality care and educational support to pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties across Mansfield's specialist provisions.

What You'll Do:

• Deliver personalised, sensory-based support (e.g., hydrotherapy, rebound therapy, and Makaton)
• Assist with complex personal care, moving & handling, and feeding routines with dignity
• Collaborate with therapists and teachers to implement EHCP targets and multi-sensory learning plans

What You Need:

• Minimum Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent (or relevant health/care background)
• Proven experience supporting individuals with PMLD, complex needs, or physical disabilities
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
