This is an exciting opportunity for a policy and research professional to lead the development of evidence-based policy outputs, research reports and consultation responses that influence decision-makers across government, regulation and industry. Working within a small, collaborative team, you'll help shape policy positions, deliver impactful campaigns and engage with senior stakeholders across a dynamic and fast-evolving sector.

Description

  • Lead the development and production of research reports, policy papers and consultation responses to support organisational priorities.
  • Monitor political, regulatory and market developments, identifying emerging issues and opportunities for policy engagement.
  • Research, analyse and interpret policy issues, stakeholder views and market data to inform campaigns and strategic recommendations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with members, policymakers, regulators and partner organisations.
  • Support the delivery of policy campaigns through high-quality written content, presentations, briefings and stakeholder engagement activities.

Profile

  • Financial services, investment, governance or capital markets experience.
  • Demonstratable experience in a policy, public affairs, research or evidence-based advocacy role.
  • Excellent research, analytical and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear recommendations.
  • Experience producing consultation responses, policy reports, briefings or other thought leadership outputs.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the confidence to work with senior external audiences.

Job Offer

  • Permanent position based in London.
  • Salary ranging from £50,000 to £60,000, dependent on the level of experience.
