Powder Coater

Powder Coater - permanent job opportunity for an experienced powder coater in this busy sheet metal facility, the role involves masking, spraying, and curing preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications.
• Keep the work area and equipment clean and organised.
• Meet high standards and deadlines.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking.
• Mix and apply powder coating materials to achieve the desired finish.
• Use spray guns or other equipment to apply powder coating evenly.
• Monitor oven temperatures and bake products to cure the finish.
• Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments.
• Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Powder Coater in a manufacturing environment.
• Skilled in equipment setup, maintenance, and cleaning.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality powder coating finishes.
• Experience with wet paint spraying.
• Strong understanding of technical specifications.
• Detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Enthusiastic about producing high-quality work.
