PPA Teacher – Market Weighton Area
Part-Time Initially | Potential for Full-Time Hours | Primary School

A welcoming primary school near Market Weighton is looking to appoint a dedicated PPA Teacher to join their team. The position will begin on a part-time basis, with the opportunity for additional hours and potentially a full-time timetable for the right person.

We are looking for an immediate start, but would consider those not able to start until next academic year, as provision is currently in place.

For teachers who are happy to work across more than one setting, there may also be opportunities to support other local primary schools within the same cluster, covering classes across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in line with your experience and preferences.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys variety and can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff. You'll be delivering planned lessons across different year groups, providing high-quality PPA cover while maintaining consistency, engagement and excellent classroom standards.

The school is looking for someone who:

• Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent
• Can confidently teach across a range of primary age groups
• Has strong classroom management skills and a positive, adaptable approach
• Communicates effectively with pupils, colleagues and parents
• Is organised, dependable and able to integrate seamlessly into an established team

Vetting Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
