Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking a PPM Data Information Assurance Analyst to ensure Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) regimes are accurate, compliant, and fit for operational delivery.

Job Overview

This role is responsible for validating maintenance plans against SFG20 standards, statutory requirements, and asset criticality. The successful candidate will ensure maintenance strategies are appropriate, achievable, and aligned with operational and business requirements.

The role focuses on maintaining the integrity of PPM data within CAFM/CMMS systems through assurance reviews, data validation, governance controls, and change management processes. The successful candidate will provide confidence that planned maintenance programmes support compliance, operational performance, and asset lifecycle objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and control PPM changes within CMMS/CAFM systems, ensuring compliance with governance and change control requirements.
  • Validate and implement PPM changes in line with maintenance standards, statutory requirements, and approved asset information.
  • Maintain the accuracy, integrity, and suitability of PPM schedules across the asset portfolio.
  • Reconcile asset and PPM data across systems to ensure consistency and completeness.
  • Coordinate and assure User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for PPM data changes, maintaining auditable records.
  • Assess and manage the operational impact of PPM changes, ensuring effective stakeholder communication.
  • Maintain governance documentation, approvals, audit trails, and change records for all PPM updates.
  • Support reporting, data quality reviews, audits, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.

Person Specification

  • Experience working within asset management, facilities management, or maintenance environments.
  • Working knowledge of PPM regimes and asset data.
  • Experience using CMMS, CAFM, or EAM systems.
  • Knowledge of PPM scheduling and SFG20 standards.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Proven ability to coordinate and control asset data changes in a structured and auditable manner.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on governance and audit requirements.
  • Effective collaborator with the ability to work confidently with technical, operational, compliance, and governance stakeholders.
