Following significant growth through both acquisition and organic expansion, the finance team is continuing to evolve, creating an exciting opportunity for a Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join the business. This is an ideal role for someone looking to broaden their experience in a commercially focused environment, gaining exposure across group reporting, business partnering and finance transformation.
Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you'll take ownership of the management accounts for a number of entities while supporting wider group reporting, budgeting and continuous improvement projects. This is a broad role offering excellent exposure and genuine career progression.
Key responsibilities:
- Producing monthly management accounts for multiple entities, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Delivering meaningful variance analysis and performance commentary.
- Supporting the production of consolidated group reporting and board reporting packs.
- Business partnering with operational teams to provide financial insight and challenge.
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis.
- Preparing VAT returns, intercompany reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
- Supporting cash flow forecasting, year-end audit and financial compliance.
- Reviewing and improving finance processes and internal controls
- Supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses.
We're looking for someone who is ambitious, proactive and keen to continue developing their finance career.
You will ideally have:
- Part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Experience preparing monthly management accounts.
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Look-ups and working with large data sets.
- Experience working within an ERP system.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to work closely with non-finance stakeholders.
- A naturally inquisitive mindset with strong attention to detail and a drive to improve processes.
- Salary of £35,000 - £40,000, depending on experience.
