The Opportunity

Jobsworth Recruitment is working with a growing and forward-thinking accountancy practice in Alcester that is looking to welcome an experienced Senior Accountant to its team.

The Role

You'll be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients, providing a mix of accounting, tax compliance and client support.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies.
• Preparing corporation tax returns and personal tax returns.
• Managing and supporting a varied portfolio of clients.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
• Responding to client queries and providing day-to-day accountancy support.
• Taking ownership of your workload and ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently.
• Working closely with the wider team to deliver an excellent service.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has at least 3 years' experience working within an accountancy practice.
• Is confident preparing statutory accounts and tax returns.
• Enjoys building relationships and communicating directly with clients.
• Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in their work.
• Is proactive, organised and comfortable managing their own workload.
• Is keen to develop professionally and become part of a growing business.
