The Role

As a Prepper/Painter, you will be responsible for preparing and refinishing vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and with attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, filling, and priming.
• Mix and apply paint using modern spray-painting equipment.
• Carry out paint refinishing and polishing to manufacturer standards.
• Perform colour matching to achieve a flawless finish.
• Inspect completed work to ensure excellent quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Work collaboratively with technicians and workshop staff to meet production targets.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Prepper and/or Painter within an accident repair centre or bodyshop.
• Excellent knowledge of vehicle preparation and paint application techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Advantageous: Candidates who hold an NVQ or IMI level 3 
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
