Press Brake Operative Needed

Location- Bradford, BD4

• The ability to meet deadlines, be organised and work individually or as part of a team
• This is an ongoing work
• We need someone who can start ASAP.
• Work Timings- Mon to Thus- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM & Fri- 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 39 hours paid/week
• Must have appropriate PPE.

Job Duties :-

* Operate press brake machinery to bend and form sheet metal components.

* Set up machinery and select appropriate tooling according to job specifications.

* Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions.

* Load, position and handle metal sheets safely.

* Adjust machine settings to achieve the required dimensions and bend angles.

* Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards.

* Use measuring equipment, including callipers, verniers and angle gauges.

* Identify and report any machine faults, defects or quality issues.

* Carry out basic machine checks and routine cleaning.

* Follow company health and safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.

* Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

* Work effectively with colleagues to meet production deadlines and targets.

* Previous experience operating press brake machinery in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Pay Rate : £15.59/hr PAYE
