Press Brake Team Leader in Doncaster, South Yorkshire

Job Overview:
The working hours will be Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.00pm so 40 hours

Salary up to £32,739.20 (£15.74 per hour) Dep. on Exp.

Our client is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to be a Team Leader and join their team based in Doncaster. You will be a hands on Team Leader who is able to operate a press brake and work with sheet metal to produce metal components on their Trumpf Trubend Machine. Be able to operate, set and programme the press brake machine.

Key Tasks:

• Hands on supervising a small team.
• First aid and Fire Marshall responsibilities.
• Operate, Set and programme Trumpf Trubend Pressbrake machines.
• Health and safety aware.
• General upkeep of the machine shop and premises to aid with the smooth running of the facility.
• Ad hoc duties as and when required.
• Complete job cards

Key Attributes:

• CNC Press Brake experience is essential.
• Drive license
• Forklift truck license would be beneficial.
• A willingness to learn new skills, be hard working and a great work ethic.
• Effective communication and positive relations with employees at all levels within the organisation and external contacts including customers and suppliers.
• Be competent at working alone or as part of a team.
• Must have previous experience working as a CNC Press Brake Operator or have previous Sheet Metal or Machine Operation experience.
• The ability to interpret Engineering drawings, be able to work out a bending sequence and write a programme, have the ability to select the correct tooling and be able to Set and Operate the CNC Press Brake Machines.

• Be aware of all Company policies and Health and Safety procedures and practices.
