The Opportunity
Our Client, a World recognised and respected Automotive OEM Manufacturer based in rural Warwickshire, are actively seeking an experienced Press & Marketing Technician to join their highly successful team with immediate effect on initially a 6-month Contract, likely rolling basis (Inside IR35). On offer to the successful candidate is a highly competitive hourly rate.
As their Press & Marketing Technician, you will prepare, service, and maintain a variety of vehicles to the highest possible standards for Press/Sales & VIP usage. You will be involved in preparing and maintaining their worldwide vehicle fleet.
Your duties and responsibilities will be:
- Vehicle service & repair.
- Vehicle test & event preparation.
- Strip and inspect parts.
- HV component assembly & operation (training provided).
- The servicing and maintenance of the Press/Marketing & Sales worldwide fleet of vehicles.
- The preparation of company products to extremely high standards.
- Problem solving to aid in the resolution of current vehicle issues.
- Providing support and technical knowledge to dealer networks and regional offices.
- Carrying out rework instruction sheets on pre-production cars.
- Carrying out Warranty work on Press fleet as required.
- Should ideally be fully Apprenticeship trained and qualified, NVQ level 2, and/or HNC qualified in Automotive Engineering or equivalent, although plenty of relevant experience will also be considered.
- Should be an experienced Vehicle Technician who is skilled in the preparation, servicing, and maintenance of a variety of vehicles to the highest possible standards, with your experiences having been gained from working in an Automotive and/or Motorsport environment.
- Will be experienced in Automotive service and repair, part stripping and inspection, as well as vehicle test/event preparation.
- Should be I.T. literate (Outlook, Excel, Word etc).
- You will have a Full Clean UK Driving Licence and valid Passport.
- Should have the ability to read engineering drawings with skills in failure investigations and problem solving.
