Press Operator

Supreme Recruitment are recruiting for a well-established manufacturer of electrical conductors and connectors based in Sutton Coldfield.

We are recruiting for a Press Operator to operate power and progression presses.

Your duties may include: 

• Operating power presses up to 250t to manufacture electrical connectors 
• Working to Health & Safety regulations
• Working to Quality guidelines
• Inspection of own work - first offs and incycle
• Reporting faults to the relevant teams 

Pay: £13.20 plus 13.75% shift allowance - training rate total of £15.01 per hour. Increases to £14.07  plus 13.75% shift allowance - once trained, total rate of £16.00

Hours: 6am - 2pm/ 2pm - 10pm rotating 

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 2 years experience working on power presses from 20-250t
• Experience using measuring equipment 
• Be computer literate 
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach
• Ability to work as part of a team 
• Have a positive, can-do attitude
