A successful and community-focused primary school in Tower Hamlets is looking to appoint an ambitious Primary Class Teacher to join its Upper KS2 team from September 2026.

The school has a strong reputation for pupil achievement and is particularly proud of the progress pupils make during their final years of primary education. Staff work within a structured curriculum framework, allowing teachers to focus on high-quality teaching while benefiting from shared planning and strong leadership support.

The successful Primary Class Teacher will take responsibility for a Year 6 class, helping pupils prepare academically and personally for the transition to secondary school.

As a Primary Class Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across the curriculum
• Prepare pupils for end-of-year assessments in a balanced and supportive manner
• Track progress and implement targeted interventions where required
• Foster independence, resilience and a love of learning
• Work closely with colleagues to share resources and best practice

The school is looking for a Primary Class Teacher who:

• Holds QTS and has recent UK primary teaching experience
• Has strong knowledge of Upper KS2 expectations
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management
• Maintains high expectations for attainment and behaviour
• Is organised, reflective and committed to continuous improvement

Previous Year 6 experience is desirable but strong Upper KS2 teachers will also be considered.
