About the Role

This is a varied and rewarding position where you'll work across the school, supporting teaching and learning while making a meaningful difference to pupils who require additional support.

Working closely with class teachers, the SENCO and senior leaders, you'll deliver pre-planned lessons, lead intervention groups and provide targeted support for children with SEND and SEMH needs. The role offers plenty of variety, allowing you to work across different year groups while developing your own teaching and leadership skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Providing high-quality classroom cover when required.
• Leading small group and one-to-one interventions.
• Supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs using nurturing and inclusive strategies.
• Working alongside the SENCO to deliver personalised support plans.
• Promoting positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and engagement in learning.
• Monitoring pupil progress and feeding back to teaching staff.
• Contributing to the wider life of this vibrant and forward-thinking school community.
