About the Role

Working alongside teachers and support staff, you'll oversee pupils in the dining hall and playground, encourage positive interactions and support children in developing confidence, independence and good social skills.
Your duties will include:

- Administering basic first aid where appropriate and reporting any incidents.
- Helping to maintain a calm, organised and welcoming lunchtime environment.
- Following the school's safeguarding, behaviour and health and safety procedures.

- Confident communicating with both children and adults.
- Able to encourage positive behaviour in a fair and consistent way.
- A strong team player who is happy to get involved in school life.
- Passionate about supporting children's wellbeing and development.
Previous experience within a school, nursery, childcare setting, holiday club, youth organisation or sports coaching environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
