The successful candidate will deliver engaging and creative maths lessons that inspire pupils to achieve their full potential while contributing to the wider life of the school.
The Role You will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging maths lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Create an inclusive classroom where all pupils are supported and challenged.
- Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and inform future planning.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND and EAL.
- Promote mathematical reasoning, problem-solving and fluency through creative teaching approaches.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement and personal development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.
- Contribute to the school's commitment to continuous improvement and academic excellence.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching mathematics within a primary setting.
- Excellent knowledge of the UK Primary National Curriculum.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- A passion for raising standards in mathematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
