Empowering Learning are currently recruiting Qualified Primary Teachers with QTS to work across a range of primary schools in Derby and the surrounding areas.

We are looking for passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic teachers who are committed to providing high-quality learning experiences and helping pupils reach their full potential.

We have a variety of opportunities available, including day-to-day supply, short-term, long-term and permanent positions, with flexibility to suit your availability and career goals.

As a Primary Teacher, your responsibilities may include:

• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons

• Teaching across the primary age range, depending on your experience

• Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of individual pupils

• Assessing and monitoring pupil progress

• Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment

• Managing classroom behaviour effectively

• Working closely with Teaching Assistants and support staff

• Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs

• Maintaining accurate records and contributing to school assessment processes

• Following school policies and safeguarding procedures

We are keen to hear from teachers who have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching within a primary school setting

• A genuine passion for education and pupil development

• Strong classroom management skills

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• The ability to adapt quickly to different school environments

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare

• A professional, reliable and enthusiastic approach

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply.

Experience across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 is welcomed, and we have opportunities available across different year groups.
