Academics are working in partnership with a welcoming and vibrant primary school in Basingstoke to recruit a dedicated Primary School Receptionist to join their front office team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and friendly individual who enjoys working in a busy school environment and is passionate about supporting the day-to-day running of a thriving primary school.

As a Primary School Receptionist, your responsibilities will include:

• Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, pupils, and staff.
• Managing incoming telephone calls, emails, and general enquiries in a professional and welcoming manner.
• Providing administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the school office.
• Maintaining accurate pupil records and assisting with attendance administration.
• Liaising with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies when required.

• Previous experience as a receptionist or administrator (school-based experience is desirable).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong IT, organisational, and time management abilities.
• A warm, approachable, and professional manner.
• The ability to multitask effectively and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
