POSITION - Primary School Administrator

Prospero Teaching is excited to be working with a welcoming and outstanding primary school in Penge, South East London. We are now seeking an experienced and proactive School Administrator to join this popular two-form entry school from September 2026.

POSITION DETAILS

Position - Primary School Administrator
Type of work - School Administration, Reception Duties, Attendance Management, Pupil Data Administration, Parent Communications, and General Office Support
Start date - September 2026
Position type - Full Term Long Term

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience working as a School Administrator within a primary school setting.
Strong working knowledge of Bromcom for pupil data management, attendance monitoring, reporting, and school administration tasks.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
Excellent administrative, organisational, and time-management skills.
Experience managing school attendance records and maintaining accurate pupil information.
Confident communicator with the ability to liaise professionally with pupils, parents, staff, and external agencies.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and GDPR requirements within an educational environment.
Ability to work independently, prioritise workloads, and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Commitment to supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a busy school office and contributing positively to the school community.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
