We are looking for an inspirational and dedicated SENCO to join our welcoming primary school with an immediate start.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic SENCO to lead our SEND provision, champion inclusion and work collaboratively with pupils, families, staff and external professionals to ensure that every child is supported to thrive and achieve their potential.
About the RoleAs our SENCO, you will play a key strategic role in developing and leading our SEND provision across the school. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure that pupils with additional needs receive high-quality, personalised support and that their voices, strengths and aspirations remain at the heart of our practice.
You will:

Lead and coordinate the school's SEND provision.

Work closely with class teachers to ensure effective identification, assessment and support for pupils with SEND.

Develop strong, trusting relationships with children and their families.

Coordinate EHCP processes, reviews and applications where appropriate.

Liaise effectively with parents, carers, external agencies and specialist professionals.

Support staff in developing their confidence and expertise in meeting a wide range of additional needs.

Monitor the impact of interventions and provision, using evidence and pupil progress to inform next steps.

Contribute to school improvement and the development of an inclusive whole-school culture.

Ensure the school meets its statutory responsibilities in relation to SEND.

Applicants must hold the National Professional Qualification for SENCOs (NPQ SENCO).
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and substantial experience of working with children with SEND are also essential.
